@@SonyEuro Thank you... I bought two ULT Field 1 units and I think they are very good! Only the Party Connect is very unfortunate, now I cannot use them with my other Sony speakers. Also friends having Sony speakers we know cannot 'party' Especially since the JBL flip 6 has such functionality I think it is key that Sony also has this... Possible software update???

Hi Christian, we're sorry to learn about your issue. Have you tried to unplug both your TV and sound bar from the mains for at least 2 minutes, then trying to test them again? Please, also provide us with the model of your audio system to be able to assist further. ^Mazen

@@SonyEuro Yup, tried that many times actually. I also tried with an entirely different mini-jack cable, to make sure the other one hadn’t somehow worn it self out - problem still remains. My receiver is the “TA-AN1000”. I don’t have a soundbar, I use a full 5.1 speaker system with big floor-speakers 👍

@@SonyEuro I truly appreciate you even responding through here, so thanks for the service :-) Sadly I’ve tried all that too. I’ve gone through those steps very carefully, a bunch of times. The “TV/Screen Center Settings” is still just grey’ed out, it simply won’t allow me to turn it on. It’s all enabled on the TV it self, no problem there, it’s 100% the receiver that’s the issue.. I’ve also tried to go through the entire “Auto Calibration Settings” stuff again. During the first steps, when asked if I wanna use the TV as my center-speaker, using the “S-CENTER SPEAKER IN jack”, I click the “Use TV as Center”. That leads me to the screen where I’m asked to connect “the TV center speaker cable”. It too says, when connected correctly, I’ll “automatically move to the next screen”. And since it doesn’t move directly to that next screen, that must mean the receiver ain’t recognizing the jack-cable is ALREADY in place 🤷‍♂️ So what did I try? I tried pulling out the jack-cable, while staying on the same screen, and then plugged it back in. A FEW times it suddenly recognized the cable and then moved on to the next screen, as stated it would when connected correctly. Then, when I finally get to the entire sound-measurement-portion, and have plugged in the microphone to start the process, it soon reads “ERROR” after the first couple of test-notes. It then talks about problems with the center-speaker measurements 🤷‍♂️ NOTE: The sound from the TV it self is just fine, when I switch from “Audio-system” sound to “TV Speaker” sound, just for testing. So the build-in tv speakers are working, but simply aren’t allowing me to use them as Center-Speaker, through the receiver.. Somehow (at this point) I feel the entire issue still wouldn’t be solved, even if I did a complete FACTORY-RESET of the receiver it self???
